A look back at our summer

We went riding with my parents. We took them
to the spot where we got stuck in the spring.

We went camping in Smithfield Canyon.
Eric and Kate came up for a few hours to roast
hot dogs and marshmallows with us.

Making tin foil dinners.

Kiley's summer activity that she picked was called
"Fright Night". We took the kids to see the Weeping Woman
at Logan Cemetary. The moon was not out that night so we
were unable to see her tears. After our trip through the cemetary
We went home and watched scary movies. Our favorite scary movie
was "The Others"-it's a good movie. Check it out.

Dinner at Willow Park with the Gibbons'.
After dinner, we did the River Walk Trail and
then went for ice cream @ Arctic Circle.

At the fair, eating a Navajo Taco

The kids and I did a local road trip. I took them
to Albertson's. This is where I worked for 9 years.
Albertson's has been sold and will not be in Logan anymore.
So, we went there bought drinks and snacks and I told them some
of my work stories.
From there we went to see the temple.
Then, we went to Gossner's to sample cheese
and buy milk boxes.

Our annual block party.

Horse Races

Destrie's summer activity was fishing.
He caught 4 fish. We let him keep 2.
He actually liked eating them.

Madee played softball this summer.
Kile was the assistant coach.

Another local road trip. We shopped for
socks at the Sock Outlet.
Visited Pepperidge Farm and got fish crackers.
Went to Casper's to get ice cream.

Kiley went to EFY- and loved it!

Kelly and Jeremey came over for a cook out.
Jeremey made green chili cheeseburgers that were tasty.

4rth of July weekend we went with the Lundahl's to their cabin.
We did a lot of riding. It was so much fun! Thanks for taking us guys!

We attempted to do a garden this year. We did
end up with some corn, a few peas and red potatoes.
All in all it was a pretty good summer- it just went too fast.
Our days of staying up late, sleeping in and doing whatever we want are over until next summer.
Kiley and Madee are back in school. Back to schedules and daily routines.
