Riding at Hardware Ranch

On Saturday we went riding with our nephew Nick.  We were so glad to have some good weather so we could finally get out and ride.

When we stop, Destrie likes to have fun playing with various sticks that he finds.

And of course, we we found some water and mud to drive through!

Thankfully this time we didn't get stuck...oh wait, we did.  But this time we were able to get unstuck!
Good times.

Wasatch Back 2011

Over the weekend we participated in our 2nd Ragnar Relay Race.  We met our Van 1 team at the start line at 7:00 a.m. Friday morning to wish them luck.  Kiley and her friend had been there since 2:00 a.m. volunteering.  Their job was to handing out race packets to teams as they checked in.

 After that, we headed out to meet up with Van 2. 

We began our part of the race in Liberty.

     This was my favorite leg of the race, even though it was all up hill.

Road Trip to Jackson

Over the weekend we rode the bike to Jackson Hole with some friends.

We also rode in to Yellowstone.  It was cold and there was SNOW!

Even though the weather could have been better, we had a great time.  There is talk of making it a yearly tradition and and I am totally on board with that.

Kick Off To Our Summer Of Fun

We headed to Salt Lake over the weekend.  We went to Hollywood Connection.  We rode the rides and played mini golf. 

After that, we headed over to the Gateway and went to the Clark Planetarium.  We saw a movie while we were there in the Dome Theatre.  The theatre was cool, but the movie was horribly boring...a waste of money.  So, if you ever go... don't see Attack of the Space Pirates.  We did have fun looking at all the other cool stuff though.

T Ball

Destrie had his first T ball practice last week.  I am so excited that he is able to start playing some sports.  Kile is his coach and I will be helping also...since I signed him up to coach and that was not something he had planned on doing-oops!  Anyway, his first game is Wednesday and I can't wait!

Update

Wow!  It has been a long time since I have blogged.  Since you last heard from me...

We went to the horse races in Pocatello- it was a ton of fun!

My birthday came and went.  It was a great birthday and the thoughtful gifts were much appreciated.

We were super busy preparing for the end of the preschool year.

Preschool Graduation was last Thursday and was a huge success- the best one yet if I do say so myself.


Memorial Weekend = crappy weather and 2 cookouts
