Disneyland!!!!!

For Spring Break this year we headed out to Disneyland!  We drove to St. George, and then stopped to grab a treat at Nielsen's Frozen Custard...Chocolate Brownie Concrete-Yum!  Let me warn you though... one is plenty for our whole family to share!

Then we got in the car and drove as far as Las Vegas, where we stopped for the night.  The kids crashed at the condo and Kile and I went out.  We had dinner at the Toby Keith Bar and Grill.

After dinner, we caught a show- "Legends".  It was an impersonator show, we saw Michael Jackson, and several other celebrities.  It was fun and I have to say Michael Jackson was our favorite!  He looked, talked,  and danced just like the real Michael Jackson!

We woke up early the next morning and drove the rest of the way to Disneyland.  It was Destrie's first visit!

Destrie was chosen to take part in "Jedi Training".  He loved it!  It was so much fun to watch!

We had an awesome day!  There were a lot of people, but we got Fast Passes and were able to go on a lot of rides.
We were super excited to find out that there was a Tony Romas across the street from Disneyland!  That was our favorite restaurant, and we were sad when all the Utah locations closed down.  We had dinner there that night.  YUM!

We finished up Day #1 watching the Show/Fireworks that was presented at Rivers of America.
Then we walked back to the hotel and crashed!

Day #2- We headed out for another day of fun.

At  the parade.........

We finished off day #2 watching the fireworks above the castle.  We watched from a great spot on "Main Street" and it was truly magical!!

Day #3 -We had breakfast at the hotel and  then it was off to California Adventure.

Tower of Terror....our favorite ride.  Soooo much fun!

We sat down to rest for awhile and watched the Phineas and Ferb dance party.

Kile and Destrie cooling off at the splash pad.

We finished our day and headed back to the hotel.  We were exhausted after 3 days of go,go,go.  Saturday morning, we got up early, went to breakfast and then got in the car for the 12 hour drive home.  It wasn't as bad of a drive as I had expected it to be.  We stopped every few hours and it went pretty well.

This picture was taken just outside Las Vegas...at one of our bathroom stop locations.

And this was the last picture I took....I had to force them to pose for this one!  They were tired of me taking pictures... and I don't think I really took that many!   We stopped at In-n-Out Burger in Centerville and from there it was a straight shot home.   We got home around 10 p.m.    not too shabby!
                                                   Great Vacation!
