Baseball!!!

Destrie played on a competitive baseball team this Spring.  Kile helped coach.  They had a great team and improved so much over the season.  Destrie did great and made a lot of new friends.  It was a ton of fun spending our Saturdays at baseball games.

Mothers Day 2014

This year for Mothers Day.  Kile made lunch.  He asked me what I wanted, so I had ordered:
Ham Fried Rice and Sticky Chicken, with cheesecake for dessert.  It was delicious!

Destrie, made me flowers at school.

Madee gave me lip gloss.
 Kiley gave me a flower to plant outside.
Kile gave me some new black shoes that I LOVE.

We had a great day hanging out together.  One of my favorite Mothers Days ever!

Happy Easter 2014

This year Easter was really busy.  The Saturday before Easter, Destrie had 2 baseball games, and we went riding up Blacksmith Fork Canyon.  We did manage to "hop on down" the bunny trail at Lee's though.

This year will go down in history as the year Destrie stopped believing in the Easter Bunny... It was right before bedtime, and he asked, "Mom, is the Easter Bunny real?"  I kind of tried to avoid full on answering his question.  He keep persisting, and Madee was there sitting on the couch saying, "Just tell him Mom." 

So, I gave in, told him it was us, but assured him that it can still be fun.  He sat real quiet for awhile, and then he said, "It's the same with Santa Claus too isn't it?"  My heart sank just a little because he was our last "believer" in our house. 

Madee also pointed out to him, "There is another one that's not real...The Tooth Fairy. "  So there it was, all over, all at once.

Well, now Destrie is all grown up.  It's going to be weird when Christmas rolls around...but really, it is going to be a whole lot easier....Bring on this next chapter in our lives!

Scout Project....My Little Builder

Destrie is loving scouts.  He has worked really hard  to complete all the requirements to get his Wolf Badge.  He made some book ends as one of his projects.  Destrie was quite the little builder.

Spring Break 2014

We started of our Spring Break (Kile, Destrie, and me) by going to the Horse Races in Ogden on Saturday, with Grandpa Hal.  The races were fun and then we stopped at Maddox on the way home for dinner...YUM!

Sunday was the usual.... church, watching Impractical Jokers, a nap, and playing games.

Monday, Kile had work and Kiley had school, so Madee and Destrie, and me went to lunch at Rumbi, did some shopping, and then stopped at Twizzleberry- Madee's favorite place in the whole world!

Tuesday, I took Madee and Destrie ice skating.

We have a few more days left of Spring Break, we will try to have as much fun as we can before it's over.  Oh, and I forgot to mention that the weather has been horrible...it snowed :(

Las Vegas Baby!

Madee had a cheer competition in Las Vegas on March 2nd. We headed down a few days early to hang out. This was the third trip Kile and I had been on in 6 weeks! (LOVE IT!!)
Our first trip was in January to St. George with my mom and dad.  We stayed at Aunt Loretta and Uncle Bill's house.  We had a ton of fun.

Next, was the trip to St. George with the kids,
        and then the Vegas trip!
