Oh ya...Destrie had a birthday....in November

Destrie turned 7 years old on November 11th!  We celebrated with the usual visit to Texas Roadhouse..so he could sit on the saddle.

We had a family party for Destrie and his cousin Dawson...who had a birthday on November 10th.

He also invited a couple friends for a birthday party...we went to the Jump Zone and had Angry Bird pizza and cake.

Those One Direction boys certainly do have quite the effect on girls.  I'm  assuming that's why there is a sudden fascination with the British!!!

Destrie's Basketball Team

This was Destrie's first year playing basketball.  They had a small team, so this meant lots of playing time!  It was great and he loved it!

This picture is too cute!  He has a self-inflicted wound on his forehead...he drove a remote control car into his head on purpose...not sure why???

 He had just lost his first tooth...Yay!

Weekend Road Trip

 A few weeks ago, we went with some friends on a weekend motorcycle trip.  We visited Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, and Teton Village.

This is the cabin that we stayed in.  It was in Victor, Idaho.  It was super nice.  There was a bedroom and a bathroom for each of the 4 couples.  We had a drawing to see who got that master suite...and Kile and I got it!  Lucky us!
