At the beginning of 2012, I told the family that whoever read the Book of Mormon that year, would get to go to iFLY in Ogden.

Basketball Weekend

We have been faithfully following the Sky View boys basketball team this year.   This weekend was the state basketball tournament at Weber State University.  Kile and Destrie and I went down on Friday, to watch the 3 teams from the valley play.

First, was the Logan and Mountain Crest game- we were cheering for Logan, because we are not fans of Mountain Crest...it may stem back to bad memories of when Sky View lost to Mountain Crest for the state football championship back in 1987....but that's a whole different story.

Anyway, Mountain Crest beat Logan.  Next up was Sky View, who played Bountiful...who was favored to win... and Sky View beat!!!  Thanks to the 1/2 court buzzer shot that won us the game!

So, that left Sky View and Mountain Crest to play for the state 4A basketball championship on Saturday.  Sky View has not had a ton of success against Mountain Crest...again, I feel it because of 1987, but anyway....We went down to the game Saturday, and long story  short....Sky View won!!!!

Destrie is sure that Sky View won because he wore his Lucky Shirt!

Whatever it was...just so happy they won!  It was a long time coming.

What has Madee been up to?

Madee and a group of friends went to the Ed Sheeran concert recently and had a ton of fun!

   They even made T shirts for the occasion that turned out really cute.

Now, on to another subject...and kind of random,  Madee had a friend over the other day and she made this tiny, cute snowman!  I loved it, so I had to get a picture!

Oh, and Madee is a lot like me.....she really hates winter.   We are hoping for an early spring!

We finally got some family pictures taken!!  Kiley's friend Jordan took them for us.  I love that we did these pictures in a snow storm!  Soooo cold, but fun!

Seriously?

I don't know why I am so far behind on posting here on the blog....Oh wait, yes I do.  It's because I am always so crazy busy.  The afternoon Kindergarten job that I took a year ago, really does eat up a good chunk of any free time I ever used to have.  It's all good, don't get me wrong, I love going to Kindergarten and hanging out with those little guys (well, most of the time I love it, sometimes...not so much.)  Anyway, its a good job for me and is something I was born to do.

Moving on....I miss blogging.  I really do.  It is somewhat relaxing for me to document the events of our lives.  So, I am really going to try to get back on track with updating more often.  Here is a quick recap of the end of 2012.

Kiley had her birthday on 12-12-12!

Christmas came and went...it stressed me out as usual....

We rang in the New Year in hopes of a great 2013.

That pretty much sums it up.  Now....on to the new year.

Oh ya...Destrie had a birthday....in November

Destrie turned 7 years old on November 11th!  We celebrated with the usual visit to Texas Roadhouse..so he could sit on the saddle.

We had a family party for Destrie and his cousin Dawson...who had a birthday on November 10th.

He also invited a couple friends for a birthday party...we went to the Jump Zone and had Angry Bird pizza and cake.
